Looking to order from Backwater Reptiles
I have seen only 2 posts on the BOI about the, and 1 had no proof about what had happened, just the topic starters word.

I would like to hear from others on here who may have ordered from them in the past and what your experience was with the company. If it was a good one, please tell me what route you took so I can do the same. If it was bad, please be very detailed about it, including what all you and they did to try and correct what ever the issue is, and also what the issue was.

Thanks in advance for any replies!!!

I have emailed them to ask for images of the yellow anacondas, as I have read they won't do it, and that is important to me to pick the one that MYSELF wants to keep for the rest of its long life.

They won't because they can't in a lot of cases they have animals drop ship.

    They are not breeders.

Also other thing, you are aware that it is illegal to cross state lines with a yellow anacondas (Eunectes notaeus) right? Just mentioning this in case you are thinking about getting an animal from an out of state breeder/seller.

I've not personally ordered from them because I hear NOTHING but bad things about them. There is a BOI on facebook that has some detailed stories about them as well, all bad. They HATE sending pictures of individual animals and their customer service is horrible. Sometimes they don't send the right animal or the animal is not as described. A lot of these are wild caught. If you want a healthy anaconda, look for a local breeder.

For the past two weeks I am trying to work out an order with Backwater Reptiles and they aren't answering emails or returning calls. Very frustrating. All I want to know is the weight range or average weight of their female adult BPs.

Well if you check the WHOIS on an positive reviews for this :soapbx: , you will likely find what I did.
They are all registered through GoDaddy by an anonymous user from the same location as this piece of trash flipper.
When the only positive reviews you get come from noobs that don't even realise they've been scammed and yourself then it is time to re-evaluate your business model.

Just indicate what species it is you are looking for and I'll bet that members can direct you to half a dozen reputable dealers.
And, remember you get what you pay for if you pay a trash price you can't expect a stellar animal.

Ordering from the US for me means the added fee of $800 for CITES paperwork so I would be very cautious in who I deal with.
Cutting Edge Herp, BHB, Rio Bravo, etc are all on the up and up so would consider buying stock from them without hesitation(I really want some cherry pastel boa's a certain member posted and would love to be the 1st in Canada to breed them).
In short if there is that much negative info around that dealer why would you even consider giving them incentive to stay in the business?

Well as I am in FL, I cannot find any yellow anaconda breeders, and BWR is the only thing I got when I looked up buy yellow anaconda in Florida. I think I may have to pass in hopes a local buddy successfully breeds his. If anyone does know where to find them in FL I will be forever greatful!!!

Check BOI's on these guys then.

\I can neither endorse or denounce this business having heard nothing of it. I just used Google for a few seconds to find a potential bit of info you wanted.

Thank you, other than the website being cheaply made, I hope they have a good business going. I will email them and see if they will show me the animals!!!
