    After 6 weeks on ASFs...
My super stubborn girl who was stuck at 1000g for the last 7 months just weighed in (post poop) at 1335g.

Yay! Just weighed in at 1508g empty! I'm starting to think ASFs are some kind of magical BP superfood.

High five for the Ren and Stimpy reference.

I love ASF. They're awesome, even for non-picky eaters :)

Lol, yeah I'm pretty impressed with her, she's been taking two a week, every week like clockwork. And she'd go for three if I'd let her.

ETA: She seems to gain anywhere from 40-70g of empty weight per feeding. I was worried it might be too fast of a gain, but the exotic vet checked her over (we had a follow up after a previous visit) and said she looks fine, so I'm just going to go with it.

It's funny, my supplier has both ASF and rats and while the large ASF and small rats run about the same size, I swear the BP's pick up weight faster on the ASF's.

Although I only have a sample size of one for the ASF side, I think you're right. It's almost scary how fast she's gaining, she definitely has a steeper slope to her line on the growth chart compared to my rat eaters.

Since it's too late to edit my last post...

I just took a look at my weight records, which I keep in an excel sheet (I'll try to paste a copy of the graph if I can get the stupid thing to show the data properly). The recent slope of the line for her matches pretty well against the one for my 18 month old 3kg boa! The slope on hers is something like 1:2, the rat eaters are more like 1:4/1:5, and my mouser boy is around 1:8.
