    Hello from Vermont!
    Hi all,

The name's Dev. I just bought my first hatchling Ball. I did a fair amount of research but figured joining a community would be the smartest choice. It's been difficult providing ideal conditions for my little guy up here on VT, that's for sure.

    This is my little guy:

He's been given a variety of names.. Still deciding on a set one. Probably won't do that, though haha.

    Melvin
Starvin Marvin (He hadn't been fed for 2 weeks when I got em)
    Bud
    Flake
    Pistacchio (I have no idea...)

Anyway, looking forward to meeting you all! And if you've got any interesting names I'm all ears :)

    Welcome to the site!

I tend to like to name my animals after dietes (Gods) lol. My Snakes name is Rhea, which is Zues's Mother :) Hahaha

Anyway, this site is pretty awesome. A lot of friendly people so don't be shy to ask for help or opinions. Its pretty hard for me to maintain my snakes terrarium as well living in Utah.

Thanks bud! I've noticed that Gods/Goddesses seem to be a common theme throughout the site at least. I like it haha. I could imagine Utah causing some issues. Temp wise the 2 states are really similar. At least it stays warmer a little longer over there haha

I'm in Utah too and maintaining humidity is a pain in the rear. Finally solved that problem after a trip to Lowes and and a small construction project though.

Hey Tori! Thanks for the feedback. I did actually settle on Starvin Marvin. He fits the bill too well, unfortunately. Being from VT, as well- where do you get your snakes? I've been looking high and low for breeders in the area.. All I've found is the rescue and PetCo type crap. Want to build my collection in the future but not through PetCo haha
