I think it all depends on their growth rates. For instance, if you have a little baby bp, and feed it appropriately, it might shed once a month. But as it gets older, it'll shed less frequently. Maybe every 2-3 months. Not exactly sure. But that's all I know, lol.

I have a baby, about a month old ... I'm waiting for her first shed!
I'm pretty sure, her underside is turning slightly pink ... or maybe not =/

That's about right, when they are babies, about once a month, as they grow, less frequently...a telltale sign they are about to shed is when their eyes turn opaque (cloud over), after they 'turn blue', they usually shed w/in 3-7 days.

Yeah her eyes aren't opaque yet.
I've had her for about 3 weeks now, I kinda hope she doesn't shed this weekend ... because I have to take her to the vet on Sat.

After their eyes cloud over they become clear as they sperate from the new eye caps. Up the humidity at this point and you will probibly get a shed in the next 48 hours. Blink was correct. Baby ball pythons grow at a quick rate and shed more often. Jojo has gone only 2 weeks between sheds before when he was a baby. Now he sheds maybe every 2-3 Months.

Andy's on pretty much the same schedule .. every 4 or 5 times he eats .. he sheds. Thats not really hard data either, and i wouldnt generalize and say every bp does this either. Its just an observation of mine.
