I got two new babies this week. One albino female and one pastel female. The albino female was very upset when she arrived, the pastel was laid back or so I thought. The next morning the albino is one cool customer. The pastel's a different story. They like traded places. This little girl comes to the front of the tub, when I come into the shop just so she can strike at me thru the tub. I know she will settle down with time but I think it's a little funny how she goes out of her way to be mean. Have any of you had a small bp act bold like this. She has not bitten me yet. I may be a little crazy but I'am thinking about putting my hand in just to see how it it will feel to get bitten while knowing for sure it's going to happen. She is one funny little fire ball.

Baby bp's can be nippy, especially when hungry. They grow out of it in a few months...

Haha the feisty ones are hilarious! I have one that would love to nibble on my face. He slithers around fine but if he gets close to my face he gets into a strike pose. I move him away before he can reshape my nose lol. Weirdest thing ever.

My Butter girl is like that. The first few days she was really laid back and then all of a sudden it was like she did a complete 180; one time I lifted her hide up to check on her and she stood up like she thought she was a cobra :P I've found that leaving her alone and feeding her every 3-4 days(she has an incredible feeding response) is really helping to keep her calm-ish, but that 4th day can be a bit scary if she hasn't eaten and I need to clean her tub. I've not been bitten, yet, but she did catch a glancing blow to my thumb once and I hardly felt it. I am a little afraid that if she ever got ahold of me she'd never let go(like a dog with a bone, or so they say) so I try and stay clear if at all possible. I can't wait until she grows out of it, she's really to pretty to have such a bad attitude :D
