Cheapest way to get into blue eyed luci
What would be the cheapest way to produce blue eyed leucistics?

I think it would be lesser female to a Mojave male.

by breeding a male in the BEL complex (Mojave, Butter, or lesser) to a female in the BEL complex. the most cost effective way would be to get hatchlings and raise them yourself. putting your first clutch about 2-3 years out if you are lucky. or you pay a premium for animals that someone else has fed and cared for for a few years and raised to breeding weight

Honestly, maybe the best way is to just buy one. Unless you find a male/female combo for decent pricing, you're better off maybe shelling out around 500 to get one. I know most go for about 700 but if you look hard enough with some luck you'll find some 500 and below. Just my opinion though.

I know which ones make blue eyed lucis and I know there all on the cheap side was just wondering what the cheapest way would be without buying a blue eyed luci. I really like them and it would more then likely be something I do just to do it not to make a quick buck

you can try to get a yearling male over 300g that is producing plugs and a female over 1400g, but chances are that even with that you will be in the $500+ range anyway, but you could get lucky.

The cheapest way to get one, once you factor in either buying adult ingredients or raising (feeding, bedding, heating) young ingredients is to buy one.

With that said, if you wand to do as a project to make one, then picking up any combo of Lesser/Butter/Mojave will do the trick if/when they breed.

Remember to factor in the cost of raising and breeding two snakes. It is a lot in food, heating, incubator, bedding, possible vet bills etc...

If you want to make it yourself, mojave x mojave. If you don't liket he grey head on the super mojo, replace the male with butter/lesser (males being cheaper than females).

x2. Even if you got an adult pair of butters/mojos, etc, you still have to buy an incubator, hatch medium, etc. If you REALLY just want a bel, just go buy one. Hey, i dont blame you, theyre awesome. Buying one, esp a male is going to cost the same if not less than the other option. If you are looking for the gratification of producing your own, get a male bel, and a female/butter mojo. That way you can get some of your investment back with babies.
