We had a great time at Tinley Park this year! Got to hang out with some great people at the show and at the auction. And 4 wee ones followed me home....
First up is a Sao Paulo South Brazilian Amarali male from Vin Russo. This was Vin's last Sao Paulo for this year and his personal holdback. He was thrilled to have someone new interested in this very rare locality and he has me first on his list for a female from him next year! Vin was wonderful to chat with and very informative. I loved working with him and I can't wait to talk with him more!
This sub-species is smaller than the average Bolivian or South Brazilian Amarali and are much darker in coloring with bright pink undertones. Most do not get over 6 feet, even the females.

Next is a gorgeous red Leopard male from Chris Gilbert. Chris was also fantastic to work with. He has had the privilege of working with the hypo, motley and leopard genes and if successful, will likely produce the first hypo eclipse (motley leopard). This boy has an eclipse litter mate - he is from a motley het leopard x hypo het leopard pairing. Keep in mind that this fellow is NOT a hypo - he is just that red.

And this is a female Nova double dose Monstertail from Donnie Smith at Prima Reptilia. The Nova gene is co-dominant, but one of those more subtle morphs. She is the result of a stunning OT Hypo Nova Monstertail female x Monstertail male. Her litter sisters wanted all of us dead on the spot, but this girl was an absolute sweetheart and just wanted to curl up in my hand. Donnie was also great to talk to and was very informative and helpful.

Lastly, something a bit different. This is an adult female Rough-Scaled Sand Boa. I've been interested in this species for awhile now and found this sweet girl and the breeder made a great deal on her. I figured I'd give her a try. This picture didn't turn out too well as she looks black and white, but she's much more warm and sand in color - like coffee with cream. She's a real puppy and very tame and gentle.

Enjoy the pictures! Tomorrow I'll post a thread with more pics from the show itself. Can't wait for next year and I sure hope to do business with every one of these sellers/breeders again - each experience was wonderful! :gj:
