My wife and I just got confirmation that we will be hosting our first herp event on October 26th. It will be an event for local children and families to come, see our collection, and learn about snakes, lizards, spiders, scorpions, and other "creepy crawlies" for Halloween. We are so excited to finally get our group House Herp up and running!
My question for you all, though, is this - what sort of things would you all think should be included in an event like this? We have a lot of education points that we will be covering, as well as some Halloween themed games and discussions involving the animals, but what else would be good to include? I appreciate any input you all may have!
