Wanted some Opinions on this Pastel Female

So the Wife and I got this girl for a song in a partial trade about 2 months ago. The people we got her from wanted to get rid of her because she wasn't locking with their male Pastel (@ 800 grams):rolleyes:

I know she's a Pastel, but I want to know if anyone thinks there might be another gene at play here. They couldn't tell me where she came from only that they knew she was a Pastel and that they thought she was defective, LOL

So without further ado this is "Ethel"

Pastel, with her pattern I'd breed her to my male enchi.

I second bcr, looks like a normal pastel to me. But she has some serious banding going on and would match beautifully with an enchi male

Very dirty looking pastel at only 800g !

its really quite dark, i mean, the areas that can brown out have browned out.

Other shots will appreciate as well as belly shot.. I will also say that she has very dirty pastel gene but as well she seems to me to have something more maybe enchi....

She's now up to 1100 grams and I have the feeling she may be an Enchi as well.

Only way to know for sure is to breed her to one and see what pips. Sometimes these guys surprise you. :)

Even if she does has enchi I wouldn't breed her because of her pastel quality. Enchi isn't that expensive of a gene.
