Hognose baby! :D

So, I had been making plans for awhile to go the Puyallup expo. There was a who would be selling there and she had posted up pictures of her hatchlings. There was a hatchling I'd really liked, but wanted to see the rest of the expo so I didn't commit fully.

Well, life happened. On the way to the expo last night, I got into a crash and totalled my car. I'm fine and my only passenger (my dad) has some possible cracked ribs and is tender, but ok which is amazing- I was on the highway and crashed into a concrete median going highway speed. No one else was involved, and it was going up to the expo not from (where I would have animals in my car), and just before I had made arrangements for my dog to stay home, otherwise he would been in the car with us and without a seatbelt.

When things calmed down, I messaged the breeder and told her what happened and that I wouldn't be there tomorrow, and if there was someway to hold the one I'd liked... long story short, they did set her aside and she hadn't been sold when I was awake enough to do the paypal, so I have a little hognose girl! I'm trying to work out how I'm going to get her down, it may be a few weeks, but yay :) I really wanted a girl and she's soooo pretty! I love her reddish color. :)

Thanks! She is a pretty little one :) I really liked the mahogany and beige together :D I'm not sure you'd call it 'red phase' but she's really stinking cute. I can't wait to have her home :)

Wow, that is aweful about the crash - but so glad everyone was ok and that it worked out (mostly, apart from your car) in the end! Congrats on the hoggie :)
