What the heck was that for?!?!
Well I was doing nightly spot cleaning tonight and I picked up my little butter girl Penny, and had her in my hand for about ten seconds while I was spot cleaning and WHAM she latched on to my ring finger. And I don't meet a little tag, I'm talking about hit and clamped down on my finger. I dont think it was a hunger tag because she just ate Sunday. I've never had a snake latch on to me like this while I was holding her. Usually when you pick them up and handle them they calm down a bit, but nope, she decided to take a wack at me and make me bleed all over the place.
Does anybody else's ball pythons do this?

Size matters less than want. Even my tiny Kenyan sand boa has drew blood on me, and her head's no bigger than my pinky. Your girl REALLY wanted you! Lol

Love bite!
Getting bit is like a right of passage. My daughter was tagged yesterday and had to tell EVERYONE she ran across lol. It was only two tiny pin pricks on her finger (he could have done way worse if he'd wanted to). She's since concluded that it doesn't count until she gets feed bit. I feel like telling her "Well then, you do all the feeding Miss Waiting-On-A-Real-Bite."
Us snake people are a funny lot. Even the young ones.
