    polysporin?
    Hi

While waiting for our rack system to come in i had put our ball python in a tub with a little hole in it(thinking the hole was too small to worry about.)

Unfortunately she didn't think so and got about 4 or 5 inches out and got stuck, got her out without problems and she seems ok ( has ate and pooped since)

but her skin is a little rough and lost its colour

Just wondering if i should use any cream or anything on it

    thanks

seems like the upper layer got loose.

if its only that, i would not do anything for now. is it swollen anywhere, blood anywhere, anything deeper?

wait for more opinions. i think it will disappear next shed, but thats just me.

    Thanks Pythonfriend

No i think its just the upper layer. Besides the colour, it looks normal.

I'm hoping after the next shed all will be good.

Since she's eating and pooping, and the skin isn't bleeding or otherwise injured, leaving it until the next shed is your best bet. After she sheds, you'll have a better idea of whether or not the color will come back - after the shed you should see some coming back already :)

No to polysporin. Too much oil based products on scales will actually make the scales soften and flake off.
I would suggest to wait till it's next shed. But if she looks alright (besides the color), I wouldn't worry too much.
