Is Any City More Cursed With Pro Sports Than Atlanta?
So, not that I care about baseball, the Braves choked, again, in the baseball playoffs.

The Hawks haven't even ever been to the NBA finals before.

The don't even have a hockey team.

And now the Falcons, whom I have remained a loyal fan of through good and bad seasons, whom were touted by many to go to the Super Bowl this year after several years of success, have come crashing down in a burning blaze of misfortune and mismanagement.

Woe is the Atlanta sports teams.

I grew up in Atlanta. It has been a long long run of losers. I was an Atlanta Flames fan (hockey team), even in the fan club. That gives you an idea how long ago that was. I started turning against the Falcons when Glanville became the coach and changed the colors to black. Never much watched the Hawks.

I understand some of your thing but I think it's far better to be bad all the time than to repeatedly get to the cusp of greatness only to stumble and collapse.

IMO, changing the color to black was the only good thing Glanville did. I hate those old uniforms.

I'm a boston everything fan. We had our run of bad luck as everybody knows. And I can tell you.. It happens. Living in georgia I have to hear all about braves this bulldogs that rise up blah blah blah. Just glad these people are finally realizing Matt Ryan is horribly overrated. Last year was a fluke they are absolutely horrible. And yes I agree atlanta sports got absolutely bum rushed Monday night lol

I agree with the change to black mentioned in this history of the uniform. My main reason for leaving the fan base was the hiring of Glanville (who I thought was a coach who was known to ride the edge of the rules and frequently crossed them) and that I no longer lived near Atlanta. It is sad to see. But, there is always next year! :D
