    Moving with a 150lb sulcatta
I have a 150lb female sulcatta and I'm moving in a couple weeks to a place over two hours away(moving to a rural area). How should I go about doing this? Should I borrow my grandmas mini horse trailer and hook up a pig blanket inside(its fall here around 55*f outside)? Any suggestions? I have a truck but I don't have a truck cap and my dad won't let me borrow his truck with a cap on it(jerk).

If you can get him into some kind of insulated container/box/crate with some heat packs, he should be ok in the back of your truck. But I don't have any idea how realistic that suggestion might be for a 150 pound tortoise.

Try asking at tortoiseforum.org. Lots of great folks there with real world experience at moving the big ones. :gj:

We don't have any containers/crates big enough and she'd just dig/eat her way out of a box.
