    eggs smelling bad
So I cut the eggs open on day 50 they suck their heads out yesterday at day 53. I left them alone the whole day, then I checked on them today. When I lifted the incubator I smelled a little ammonia. The snakes all look good and responds when I touch them. Should I be worried about this smell?

How are you taking care of the cut eggs?

I usually use water of the same temp ( I keep it in a bottle in the incubator) to flush out any signs of bacterial or mould growth and to make sure the eggs don't dry out if I got a bit scissor happy.

If I can't flush the bad stuff out I use a cue tip to gently roll it out of the egg.
