Am I reading this right? Are they are saying it's illegal for Florida residents to rehome BPs on CL or other internet forums?

Im a little freaked out that Florida and the hsus are watching another forum I belong to. And it's weird because it's a lot smaller than most other herp related forums. And most people on that site don't sell these days, it's very quiet.

Here in Albuquerque a man recently got in trouble for selling boa constrictors on craigslist that his boa had given birth to unexpectedly. He's been keeping a male and female in the same cage and thought they were the same sex. I think the babies were all seized. I really wish laws were clearer, because I didn't know it was something you could get in trouble for. I don't breed snakes though, so I hadn't ever paid close attention.

Since when was selling household pets illegal? And where in the law does it say this?
This honestly looks like the government overreaching.

In Florida you do not need a licence to own a ball python(for some other animals you need a licence to simply own them).
What you do need a licence for in Florida regarding Ball Pythons is to "exhibit" or sell them.

I did notice they are using "volunteers" to troll websites and keep an eye on other citizens for big brother. Just like American propaganda claimed was happening in Cuba and the old USSR. Between that and all the other monitoring a name change is in order. Keep the acronym (U.S.A) but, change it to the more honest, Under Surveillance America.

Spend the $50 on the class III here in Florida just to be on the safe side.
