I've had my snake set up for a few days everything is spot on......but, my humidity level is bit off a bit...At night it drop to about 54-61 but during the day it shots to almost or at 65 though the whole day til night falls again. Is that bad or ok? I was thinking about running a fan a few feet back to get the humidity lower during the day. Good idea? And my last thing.......I've been thinking about just using eco carpet for bedding....Good idea? I'am planning on picking up my first ball tomorrow.

that sounds fine. In the winter I let my humidity drop to about 40% unless one of my snakes is going into shed and then I up to 60%. High humidity + cooler/struggling ambient temps = respiratory infections.

60% humidity is perfectly fine. With your first ball, I would try paper towels first... this way you can monitor anything abnormal on the white paper towel sheets.
