Maybe she was cold?

Normally when I have Tali out she's pretty curious and wants to see ALLL the things. I took her out earlier after having a bad day and way very suprised to find out that my snake had a cuddle bug. She sat curled up next to me with her head on my leg the whole time. I don't know if she was cold or just tired but she was being a sweet girl <3

(I know I'm anthromorphizing a little. I also don't care :P she was being cute)

Sometimes they do. Not in an affectionate matter of course but it's just really cute when they sit with you for a while. I can surf the web on my laptop with Eva in my lap and she will just sit there and stare at the screen with me until she gets excited and wants to start searching for her own things by slithering all over the keyboard. But I think she just likes my body heat, the heat from the laptop, and the vibrations from the laptop. But I just think it's adorable she will also do the same thing when I'm watching tv. :)

Yea, it's always nice when they sit still. My favorite is my spider but he doesn't really sit still. My lemonblast will and my bumblebee is all over. He loves to come towards my face, and even though he's never bit me it's a place I don't like snakes going that are big enough to cause damage lol.

Thanks! :) She's a sweetheart. It's about 50/50, sometimes she wants to be every where and see everything, other times she just sits with me and chills out. Not sure whats going through her little snake brain, but I sure don't complain when she decides that she wants to cuddle up and get warm :)
Sometimes she lays still for a while and then looks up at me, smells me, and then lays back down like 'are you mom? yes your mom, ok nini'

Haha, we were playing Wind Waker :) She was pretty interested in the screen when she was on my lap (she had slid down by the time I took the picture, and then climbed into my jacket which is why I was d'awwwwing and taking pictures)

Haha, it's definitely not like a dog or cat, but sometimes she just hangs out and chills with me, either around my neck (where she is right now tbh), around my hair, or next to me when I'm sitting or laying in my bed which I would call cuddly- even though it's more 'I'm cold, warm me up' then anything else, but without knowing what goes on in her little snake head, I don't know. I don't think there's a lot of affection on her end TBH, but I don't think she'd be as calm/sleep/curl up and chill if she knew/trusted that I was no threat and she was safe. And I'm perfectly fine with that : )

Tali is so cute. She looks pretty comfy sitting there with you :D

She's a cute girl... though she hissed at me for the second time ever tonight. (first time was right after I got her, and she had been moved from her store tank to a temp tank at my parents then to her enclosure at my house in the course of three days... I'd be stressed and grouchy too, so no hard feelings). I'm pretty sure I woke her up and startled her, and even then it was pretty half hearted. Once she was out she was fine and I'm pretty sure she just went back to sleep.
