So it's finally happened

I've been saying I don't care for albinos. Well me being bad when my fourth spot in the T8 is spoken for (axanthic pastel female), I checked fauna. The thumbnail caught my eye and I just keep looking at his page. I check the gender and it's a male. I was bummed he wasn't a she, so then I was like I just want him as a pet! And now I'm justifying it thinking of albino clowns since I have a clown female... he's just so contrasty and gorgeous. The dilemma is I think my roommate and boyfriend would freak if I got yet another T8. I have two after all and it's a tiny apartment, and they're in the living room. Now yes they do stack but I think they'll freak. I do have a 20 gal and could do the tank setup thing again if needed. I really want a rack and to put it in the closet in our room but in the winter the boys plan on not running the heater so that's not an option. Plus my boyfriend sweats like crazy if it gets up to 80 so just heating our room in not an option.

Ugh I just want to be a nurse and have my own house with my snake room and go crazy. I really think I will regret walking away from this guy. And he's only 200...

If you think you're going to regret not getting him while he's still available, imagine how you'll feel when he's sold. Once he's gone he's gone. The roommates can just deal with it :D

I am being completely obsessive with checking classifieds and stuff right now, and even though I only have 2, I am trying to reign it in a bit but it's hard. I don't have another set up right now either, and I keep seeing BPs that I want but I keep having to just tell myself that it's not the right time, and when it is, the right one will come along. That's what I tell myself anyway LOL, so that's what I'll tell you ;)

I would LOVE to have a snake room, one day I will have one. I have a 4 bedroom house, but with 3 kids, they are all used. I do have a roughly 1000 square foot unfinished basement though, but we're a bit house poor especially with me being a stay at home mom, so it will have to wait. Maybe when I can go back to making so kind of income. I have the space for racks down there, but it's hard to heat a whole basement to 80F in the winter (in Canada), I'd rather just have a room on a space heater. I wish DH was more handy and would build me my room.

ETA: I do have a walk in closet in my room that I am SO tempted to turn in to a snake room, but where would my clothes go?...and what kind of woman would I be? LOL

I would just wait, sounds like a impulsive buy to me. This is why I don't go and browse kingsnake/fauna until I know what I want and how it fits in. Trust me there will be other albinos down the road. :gj:

Since you do live with others I would be considerate and ask their opinion on another setup
It's not as easy as living on your own.

I asked for updated pics and he didn't keep the nice dark contrastyness that caught my eye. Apparently it was a pic after his first shed in the ad. Crisis solved. If I'm going to have an albino he/she has to be dark. It's funny how most of morphs get darker as they age, and the ONE I want to get dark as they age gets lighter.

lol just saw this! And no the "princess" has to get the other slot in the T8. 1. because she's a stubborn brat 2. because she's the half the equation to achieving my dream snakes. Maybe she doesn't want to eat because she just want to be "spoonfed" her food. :rolleyes:
