Don't sell anything to these evil kids!
    From MFK:

    (warning, graphic picture on link)

So my question is, can these kids go to jail for this or what? If two girls can get in trouble for fake microwaving their cat and posting a vine of it, these kids should be in at least some kind of juvenile facility. They're growing up into psychopaths!

This makes me sick. People these days have such a disregard for life, whether it be animals or their fellow human beings. :-(

Yeah, so much for my good mood today. Animal abuse is one of the very few things that makes me feel violent myself.

I think we should introduce those two gents to Hammurabi's Code. I bet that having a bunch of nails driven through the heads of their snakes would make them think twice before doing something so asinine again. An eye for an eye, a pin cushion for a pin cushion. :)

    Same with me...

I think the society that we live in today harbors these sorts of actions and raises kids to be this way. It's sad, but I've noticed that I've seen more and more stories of animal abuse than I ever remember when I was younger.

That should at the very least be animal cruelty, which unfortunately for minors I think is generally just a slap on the wrist, maybe some community service and a bit of juvie... Even for adults such a charge is normally only accompanied by a nice fine with possibly a few months in jail. As you said, these two are well on their way to being psychopaths, especially since animal cruelty is usually the first stepping stone to that. I personally think the punishment for such things should be much worse, but since it is "just an animal" most people don't regard its life very high, and as an animal in a misunderstood hobby it will probably get even less attention.

What's even worse is the mother of one of the kids defended their actions. That tells me that animal abuse is something they've likely grown up around so they've learned to do it, and the biggest influence in their lives say it's okay, and no amount of fines or community service or a blip on their record will change their minds.

On top of this whole messed up situation is that I hate how proud that one guy sounded when he captioned the picture. "Damn good shot".
That is just pathetic on a whole nother low level. Yeah, you sicko. I'm sure it was SO HARD nail gunning the snake at close range. Congratulations moron, you killed a nonvenomous harmless rat snake. You win a trophy...

And those guys are retarded enough to leave their facebook pages public.
Looks like some trigger happy rednecks to me...

My only hope is that poor snake passed quickly. This is absolutely despicable.

Funny you should mention that. Watching reality TV made me develop "Hoarderabi's Code", by which if you are found with a bunch of dead cats in your house, the punishment is being bludgeoned to death using the bodies of the dead cats.

I know it's extreme but IMO necessary!
