I can't make up my mind (another what to add thread)
So here I am again. I know I post one of these like every 6 months or something like that. I need to add a couple more snakes and I'm not sure what to add. Do I pick males or females? Single gene or double? Here's what I have going for my projects:

1.0 Pinstripe Het OG to 0.1 OG (OG is only 1000 grams so she's not ready for this breeding season)

Well, that's pretty much it. I also have a 0.1 Spider and a 1.0 Pastel but I'm not sure if I want to breed them. My other big project is to produce a Super Enchi Spider Lesser (or Mojave) and I'm growing my 0.1 BEL up for that. I figured that I need to add a 1.0 Stinger Bee or something like that. I would REALLY like to be breeding next year. I've thought about adding a couple of breeder size normals and a couple of morph males (Black Pastel, Cinnamon).

I don't have too many projects yet. Long term I would love to get a reduced Clown but that's WAY down the road. Oh, and Fire. I'd REALLY like to add the Fire gene into my collection. My budget is severely limited. I can only afford payments of $200 a month if I were to have to pay one off. Most breeders won't go for something like that but I have found some that will.

I say go for double genes whenever you can. I know of a breeder in Florida who will accept payments and has beautiful snakes. Let me know if you want this contact information. Good luck on your search!

hmm, lets see what you have...

2.0 "Classics" - Elmo & Ranen :snake: :snake: <--- not really useful
1.0 Pastel - Oscar :snake: <--- may be good as a backup male, to ensure that you get eggs
1.0 Pinstripe het Hypo - Romeo :snake: <--- should be bred to your OG (if they are compatible, but i think so)
0.1 Spider - Luna :snake: <--- here i disagree, i would totally breed her :)
0.1 Orange Ghost - Juliet :snake: <--- should be bred to your het hypo (if they are compatible, but i think so)
0.1 Blue Eyed Leucistic - Snow :snake: <--- really really good. but here you should have something better than a basic single-gene male.

right now i would do these pairings: pinstripe het hypo to OG / hypo. pinstripe het hypo to BEL. pastel to spider, and as a backup also to BEL.

you need, i think, 2 more females, single or double gene, but single should do. and a male that is at least 2 gene, maybe even triple gene. the BEL really deserves a better mate than what you have so far. maybe a male with mojave and some other nice gene?

anyway thats the two gaps i see; a stronger male and also more females. its good to have a chance to get triple gene stuff.

I would line yourself up with a fistful of 0.1 Pastels. They are way underrated for the money IMHO.

Put a strong double gene male on your list and save up for him. Enchi Fire or Sugar Fire works nice with those Pastel girls :gj:

I know a few breeders that will work with you on payment plans, even $200 a month which I don't think is bad, depending on varying circumstances. When I start to breed BPs I will do small payment plans if a person is able to do that. Though I'm more in it for the hobby than the money. I still say breeding boas is far less complicated because they don't lay eggs :P, though you can easily lose a female due to birthing complications.

I have some time to think about it. My normal males are pets only. I really wasn't planning on breeding the spider but that may change. I was thinking something with enchi to go with my BEL. I'd like to throw a double or triple gene to her. I hate money issues. I need more money! LOL!
