    Always trying to leave?
It seems like my ball spends most of his waking life just trying to leave his tank. He spends almost all of his day in his hide, then comes out around 8 at night until about 4 in the morning. During that time he climbs around on the leaves and stuff that he has in there and checks the area around his lid over and over. His temps are 32/33 hot side and 26/27 ambient. Humidity 55-65. He weighs 160 grams and gets fed one adult mouse every five days.Thoughts? Thanks for any feedback

Young BPs are often active at night. Do you have two identical hides? What is the size of the snake's home? Is it eating?

That's normal. If you dislike that, just wait a few years until that thing just sits in it's hide day and night.

Magnus does it too, it's a nocturnal thing. Make sure you have tank clips! My noodle got out one night doing that, before I realized that he was finally big and strong enough to push up the lid. He's been locked up since. Haha.

I wasn't so much concerned with him moving around at night, I am obviously aware of the fact that he is nocturnal. I was just wondering if its common to have them actually trying to leave so frequently and if that was a signifier of anything I could be changing. And he is currently in a twenty long with two identical hides eating every five days. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
