Gotta show my new set off
I got my first ball python, a little normal male hatchling, not long ago and have been browsing different breeders' sites and forums to try and find a pretty little girl hatchling. That was how I stumbled across a deal that made me do a double take. Three 1.2 lesser hatchlings, two sisters and a male from another clutch, for $230 from a local breeder. I drove to him the same day to pick them up and I'm in love! Four snakes was a bit more than I was expecting to jump into but after a night dedicated to preparing their setup, everyone has their own space with access to a warm side, a cold side, a hide, and a small pool of water and they seem quite content. But before everyone was introduced to their new homes, it was time for a photo session!
First up is my pretty little boy Loki.

Next up is the first lesser female that I've decided to name Sigyn. The first picture is of her and Loki together which I took so I could see the difference between them side by side. The rest were hard to take because Sigyn is a bold little girl, ready to go as soon as she hits the ground.

The next female is Skaoi. She's a bit more timid than Sigyn so it was easier to take the pictures of her.

Last but certainly not least is the lesser male hatchling that I've named Byleistr(a cookie for anyone who's caught on to the trend here). The breeder that I got them from said that Byleistr looks a lot like a spotnose. I'm not knowledgeable enough to really tell the difference yet but maybe some of you can tell me what you think?

So there they are! My lovely new group of snakes. I look forward to spoiling them rotten and watching them grow from hatchling to monsterous rat chowing beauties. I'm so happy that I joined this forum and can not only share their but can learn all sorts of information about raising happy healthy snakes.

Very cute little hatchlings! I'm also a fan of your Norse mythology (Loki related) themed names.

Thanks! I love mythology and since I had already decided on Loki's name, it only seemed natural to give his new family names that branched off of his.

From what I understand, there's plenty of room for them now that they're small but as they get bigger, I'll have to upgrade them into more size appropriate housing. I'm pretty handy with tools so I'll probably be researching how to build them a nice big enclosure.
That's cool :)
