    Hides
I thought about taking some plastic containers that come in almost the same sizes as the RBI hides and trying to make some hides myself. Would it be safe if I used plasti dip on the outside of the hide and then sealed it with mod podge?

As long as the chemical is non-toxic and is allowed to fully cure it should be fine.

or you could just get plastic Rubbermaid type tubs(the size you want your hide to be) and cut a door into it...I wont use any chemical base stuff in any of my enclosures...because some will emit toxic fumes when heated up...just not worth it to me. there are so many quick and easy ways to make hides, without using any chemicals, that it would be foolish in my opinion.
