Tub size for adult BP's

Because of limited space considerations I need to utilize the minimum size tub to safely and comfortably house my adult BP's.
Some of the husbandry information I have found lists sizes ranging from 30 qt to 41 qt tubs.
I was hoping to use 33qt tubs, but before I built my rack I thought I'd see what you guys thought.

for adult males 28 - 33 qt is usually fine depending on their size, Females need the 41qt as adults. I have a 4000 gram female that I am starting to feel is too big for her 41 qt tub.

A smaller male should be ok in a 33, but I've got an 1800 gr female who would be cramped in it.

Adult females need 41qt tubs, 33 would be far to small.

There are people that have kept and bred females in 28qts, but I've heard of a lot of slugs and issues. My theory is that they aren't able to thermoregulate like they need to in a smaller tub.

Adult males in 28 and a female sub adult can be in a 28 but I would put her in a 41 when she's going to be breeding. That would be the V-70 tub if I'm not mistaken.

I use 32 quarts for males and V70 for females but I have kept and bred females in the 1600/1800 range in 32 quarts tubs as well and no slug.

females up to 2000 grams will be fine in 32quart tubs. after that it's pushin it though. im about to switch my bigger females over to my 41 quart rack when my thermostat gets here. here's a size comparison. the female is 1800 grams and the male is 1400 grams and they still have plenty of room to do their thing. if you plan on breeding you really need some 41 quart tubs though. if anything, build a 32 quart rack and have your few bigger females set up in single tubs.

Also, I keep my females in 28qt until they are about 1200-1500 grams. But sometimes I find a female will go off feed around 1000 grams and moving her to a 41qt can sometimes put her back on feed. It's kinda strange, not sure why that happens.
