Future plans/ideas/suggestions

I know it's all up to chance , but I'm currently growing up a Mystic Pastel female to go with my Mojave Spider male. With any luck I'll produce a Mystic Potion combo. I plan on breeding that one to a recessive gene to produce Mystic het ______ and Mojave het ______, and eventually a "Recessive" Mystic Potion(big dreams I know). I figured if I'm gonna get a visual recessive I should start saving up and get it this year so it'll be ready when the time comes. Here are a couple genes I think could look really cool with a mystic potion. Ideas?

Clown definitely makes anything look nice.

I happen to really like the potions, but I'm not sure what would go real well with them.

Whatever it is, it's going to get sort of blurred/white-outed and purpley. So, I'd suggest something that you know is going to show up. There are a few (and I do mean few) dom/codom projects (one of which you've already got the possibility of making) on WOBP that would be worth checking out just to see how they've paired up.

My initial reaction was to say clown or axanthic, but I think if you went clown it would just sort of disappear. You'd probably end up with a lot of reduction and a back stripe. Unfortunately, I think the same thing would happen with an axanthic due to the purple/white - basically a patternless fade or something similar to what you already see with potions.

I'm interested to hear what other folks think would happen if you paired up certain recessives with a potion since there really hasn't been a whole lot done past the initial potion stage. I'm just thinking a lot would disappear.

Regardless, I'd be interested to see how it turns out though. :gj:

Clown all the way....not even close.

I think If I wanted to go with pied it would be soooo hard to pick one I liked. I'm not that big a fan honestly. It's gonna be a clown or g-stripe. Not yet sure what to look for in a clown. There's so much pattern variation.
