    How often to pair
I was wondering how often, do you pair your males with each female. Once a week once a month? Just want to get an idea, of what has worked for all of you in the past. Thanks for your input.

From what I've read most folks put their male in for 3 days, then remove for 3 days to rest. If you see a lock before then you remove the male once they release. Then feed if they'll take it then start over again. This is done for as long as it takes until you see an ovulation or the female reabsorbs her follicles. This is what I plan on doing next year.

I rotate my males 3 days in with a female and 1 week off. I monitor the males throughout the breeding process, if they go off feed for too long and begin to look worn out, they are pulled from rotation.

Follicular development is important to track with the females, if the females follicles are larger then other females she gets the most attention.

It really depends on what kinda locks i see. I did 3in, 4out, to keep it on a weekly schedule. That seemed to work well. If i saw a good lock between them then i would pull them out after that.

I bred my spider male, I saw them locked on two different occasions. So after I saw them separated I removed the male. That was three days ago. I have a second female I plan to breed him to. So I plan to put him with the second female on Monday . Do you think it will be ok to breed each of the females every other week. I also have a pastel lesser male that I plan to put into the rotation, in a month or two. As I'am trying to get some extra weight on him. I'am just trying not to over breed my spider male as this is his first breeding season. Thanks for your help.

I would pick a date you want to start pairing. I always chose Friday. So for my example, I'm going to refer to Friday. Place male #1 with female#1 for three days (or until he unlocks if he locks on day 1 or 2) on Friday. Then remove male #1. Feed male #1, Female #1, and Female #2 on Monday. Wait until the following Friday then put male #1 with Female #2. Remove male#1 after 3 days or after he unlocks. Feed male #1, Female #1, and female #2 on Monday. On Friday, place Male #1 with Female #1, so on and so forth. When you're ready to put male #2 in, just add him into the same schedule. If you want him to breed both females, just trade out males each week. If you start to see them slowing down, you can always pair them every other week or once a month.

My Males are very strange I am having problems with them they get angry when I try to get them out. So I leave them in there for about a month and they still have no problems eating when its time. To be honest I go on the snake and how they react.:confusd:
