Never give up hope for a missing snake!
Well, on July 9th (while I was still in Afghanistan), my buddy informed me that my Albino Western Hognose (Dewey) had escaped. He, of course, freaked out and looked everywhere and did not find him. I gave him the list of stuff to do and see if he turned up, and no dice.

Fast forward to today (Sep 19) and BAM, my buddy comes home to find Dewey in the middle of the living room floor with a dog and 2 cats looking at him. Very much alive and in good shape. I was informed he was quite thirsty but otherwise did not look too much worse for wear. I will be picking him up and bringing him home this coming week.

So that makes 2 1/2 months that a 20g Western Hoggie was on the loose and seems OK. I had written him off for dead...

So just take note that these guys are a heck of a lot tougher than we give them credit for!

Congratz on getting him back. My experience under the same circumstances wasn't as positive.
