Here is my setup that my ball python thrives in! I have the reptifogger set to come on for
30 minutes at 8pm every night when the night light comes on it works great keeping humidity right at 50-60 and when she is shedding I bump it to 60-70 even 80. She also has a warm humid hide I like to keep for her. She eats like a champ and sheds in a complete piece :) and is very happy :)) here are the pictures let me know what you think about the setup, the duct tape areas on top have reflective foil under neath to reflect hear and humidity :) let me know how you like it!! Or what you would change I have my opinion and Exp with damp towels hanging over top, works ok not nearly as good as this method and no mildew smell that your snake can get Very sick from

Regarding your reference to towels--I plan on changing them out every single day. I don't think mildew is a problem if you're putting in fresh material constantly.

I mean.... It's very nice! But I personally am more of a tub person.

Beautiful setup, although just one or two words of caution-- I've heard of some nasty cases of snakes getting stuck in that grey treetrunk hide, so I personally would probably take that out. Also, just make sure none of that duct tape is exposed on the inside ridges of the screen lid, you'd be amazed at how quickly snakes find that stuff and promptly get stuck, meaning stress and vet visits! I love all the clutter though.

I second the hide issue. Just take some hot glue and fill the hollow portions then you're good to go.
