    So, yesterday at school I decided to bring my snake in so we could do a wellness exam on him. We performed 3 radiographs, and also did a mouth culture and weighed him (so it could be official in the record). Tried for a poop sample but failed on that one.

    The mouth cultures are incubating as we speak, so tomorrow I'll be posting the 2-day growth results. I think we may try and plate them differentially later, so we can see what specific species are growing in that mouth of his.

    Veterinary Technician; it's a 2 year program, and I'm in my second year...this is the second of my pets I've actually gotten to do the procedures on myself. I helped with my cat's dental last semester.

    Awesome. I'm also a Vet Tech student in Houston, TX. I'm only in my 2nd term, but I can't wait to do the same things in my class.
