Of the ultrabreit morph.. There is 3 bloodlines or gene pools represented and you'll plainly see the difference between the bunch.. There are this years hatch, last years hatch and an animal we purchased to diversify our program.. Each and every one is posable and are easy to situate for pictures.. There's a midget one from last year pictured with one from this year and the head size is near the same although there's a big difference in body size.. There is also one that was hatched with an ODD color.. Reminisant of a premature color that we are hanging onto to see how it develops..
VPI ultra X Our own SS ultra, tracing to VPI animals..

Minis? How big does an adult "mini" get? As in pounds and length.

Mini is a 1st, and may never reproduce, she hatched at 15 grams rather than the normal 55-75 grams, Naturally we have dreams of mini's in the future, but it's more like a pipe dream than a reality.. But being a blessed individual, I'm dreaming and looking forward to the day she is mature enough to breed.. Yes we have a suitable sire line up.. Hatched this year at 30 grams.. Both animals started without a hitch and are little pigs and started on pinks rather than the usual adult mouse..

The mini idea is exciting! I feel like it could be a perfect intro to bloods...for me, anyway!

The 1st pic is (Aundrea) a 1 of a kind ultra breit, she looks to be over toasted and while brown has one heck of a sweet brown paint job with metallic gold stripes on the side of her dorsal pattern..

This is a full sister to Aundrea above :O and the 2 of them don't come any sweeter..This particular line of ours does not get the amount of platinum color that many or most get..

Here is a 4th bloodline or genepool of the ultra breit type.. This line did not have a name on it when we acquired it out of Atlanta G.. It is different enough that we thought Metallic ultra was fitting..The dorsal ivory color that you see on these 2013 animals should or will "most likely" disappear or fade into the ground/ base color leaving what appears to be a bi colored animal... They have LOTS of changing to due in the coming years.. They are also a little tighter wound then some of our other animals BUT settle down and become very easy to enjoy..Beside these ultras the genepool throws granites as well.. Such a wonderful species for those who like surprises..:)
