    Enchi or Not
Last year I hatched some awesome looking enchis. Here is the sweetest one out of the 4 females that I held back.

This year I had terrible results and now am posting one of the threads I hate to have to post. Are these busy patterned enchis or normals? They are now approaching 160g or so. I thought I would be able to tell after another shed and some size but I still can't tell for sure.

This is the first male. I think he may be an enchi but I am not positive. He was a bit bashful and did not want a pic of his head but he has a pretty sweet head pattern. Has some banding like an enchi but not the side pattern I would expect from an enchi. Thoughts?

And here is the second male. I am pretty sure he is a normal but the yellow along the belly has me a bit confused. Thoughts?

looks like a Enchi to me just a bit more of a busy pattern definitely not a normal.

    I'd say enchi.

Thanks for the replies guys. There are two males in question Pic 2 and 3 are male #1 and Pic 4 and 5 are male #2. Do you think they are both enchis?

Thanks they came out so busy. I almost rather they be normals. Won't do that pairing again. Oh well can't win them all.

I see Enchis in both too: that female is super nice though.

Yep, those are no doubt Enchi's, just busy ones. I see a LOT of those here. Actually, most of the ones I see here are even busier than yours. It's a pity they are boys, I could see me being interested in one if it were a girl.

Well, you live and you learn. Sometimes a pairing you think should produce just what you want, produces pretty much the opposite.

Thanks...I guess the 4 females I produced last year spoiled me. I need to get some collection pics up of all 4 females I held back. 2015 should be a fun season. ;)

They do look like Enchi's to me too. I know what you mean though, last year I hatched out some really nice enchi's and one that I'm still not sure about. It's got the coloring but not the pattern. I'll probably end up selling it as a nicely colored normal just because I'd be embarrassed to sell it as an enchi (yours look much better then mine does)
