In Judo that would be called Morote Gari. I watched a guy get knocked out in completion with that technique.

Perfect form tackle. Kids, that's how you play football, none of that throwing a shoulder crap. Wrap up and lift their legs out from underneath them.

I showed that hit to my defense last night at practice. I coach 9-10 year olds and they were all ready for hitting drills after watching it.

Yeah defintley a hard hit, I'm surprised the refs didnt call it for aggressive tackling (not saying it should). The NFL is getting really picky and prissy with how you can tackle now a days.

This year is suppose to be the first year that if you lead a tackle with your helmet it's a penalty. Like really? What is our awesome sport coming to?

I was always taught to tackle hard and I was taught to shoot in and slam my opponent on the mat in wrestling. If you cant take the pain in a contact sport maybe these people should pick up finger painting.

I agree but you have to look at it from a career standpoint. All they're trying to do is limit the injuries. Leading with your helmet can cause damage to your spine and paralyze you. Plus concussions can end a career.

Some rules are just stupid though.

I agree with you on that, its just there definition of what a rough house or dirty tackle is now a days. Some of the new rules are not setup fully yet so it varies from ref to ref but most are on the same page. Then you get those one refs where you're drunk standing up in your living room screaming at the tv like they can hear you..:gj:
