    Hey everyone,

I'm looking around for a pair of Black Milks.....and I would like to get some that will get as big as possible. I've heard that San Antonio Zoo stock can get quite large. Is there any truth to that?

People on here that own adults, how big are yours???

    Thanks for your help!

If you find some, let me know. I'm looking for a female and have had zero luck.

Just picked up a baby female! Getting her this weekend. I believe she actually is descended from San Antonio zoo stock so it'll be interesting to see how she matures. She was the breeder's holdback, but he's got the parents so he let her go. I plan to pick up a male from him next year. I'll post pictures once she's home. ;)

Congrats! Where did you get her from?

Well, unfortunately, the sale fell through, so I won't be getting her after all. :( So I find myself in the same position as all of you!

I used to have some several years ago that I bought from another member of this forum. I ended up getting rid of them when I needed to simplify my life a bit. Kind of wish I had them back now. Mine never did get real black, more like a black background with black bands (you could still see a pattern, like two different kinds of black) remember that they need to be kept cool. Mine seemed to do best with no supplemental heat, just the ambient heat of my herp room.

I'm getting a baby from Isis Reptiles, maybe shoot them an email and see if they have any pairs left. I'm not sure if they have any adults, though, probably just babies.

Actually, I did talk to Isis Reptiles about a pair. They were very nice and I believe their prices are pretty good, but as luck would have it, I found a 1.1 pair at our local reptile expo from a guy we've done business with in the past. I was very lucky that Evan Stahl still had a few left available! They are awesome teeny-weeny little critters! I am quite excited to watch them grow up. The female has a very aberrant pattern too. I will post pictures a little later. ;)
