    Whoever owns scale..
Didn't expect a scale will be so important until now where I feel like I should change feed for my snake. I've been feeding fuzzy and it is the equivalent to the diameter of the snake's head to fuzzy's width. I am not sure when I should start feeding him bigger feed or I feel like he isn't growing much. Thus I am gonna get scale soon, which brand or scale is the best? And what is bigger than fuzzy?

Crawler or pup would be the next size up. People refer to the sizes by tons of different names. I've even had crawlers called smalls... I don't think brand is that important when it comes to scales. Just get a digital one that lets you tare/zero out the scale, and can measure in grams. Or any unit really, if you like math :) Shouldn't run you more than 20 bucks though. Happy hunting!

I don't recall the name on the one I have but its labeled 7001dx - has the Hold, Tare, measures in different weights with a 15 lbs max capacity (black with a clear bowl tub). I think I paid under 30 bucks many moons ago. Pups is the next size up.

One more thing. There are plenty of sites (frozen rodent companies) with images and specific details about their products. You can use that as a guide until you get the hang of things. Hope it helps. ;)

If you are not looking to spend a tonne of money, you can go to an army surplus store. I got a decent digital/glass scale for $8! It is accurate as well (obviously the most important thing).

Just get a digital kitchen scale, you don't need extreme accuracy when weighing animals.
