Weird behavior

It's been couple days my bp acting weird. She keep dig under the big water bowl and hides there for the day. I use mulch near water bowl side and coconut husk other side about 80% of the enclosure is cocinut husk.

I fixed substrate last night made it flat but she went in and decided to make a little cave there. I am holding her at this moment sge is very cold. What do you guys think?
Humidity level in the enclosure is about 45%. 75F degrees (bit cold today. It's usually 80s)

Btw what is good temperature to set for the thermostat (basking spot)??

I am definitely not an expert (as I only JUST got my BP yesterday!) but I have been reading lots... from what I've read, basking spot temps should be hovering around 90F, and the air should be around 80-82F (which you said it normally is). Do you have a UTH with thermostat?
I would also think it miiight be a little too dry for your snake? Also have read that humidity should be around 70% -- I'm already having loads of fun getting this right...

The more experienced herpers should give you better advise! I mostly commented here to give your post a bit of a bump ;)

I also wouldn't suspect it to be very odd that your BP likes to dig a tunnel, but I totally understand your concern about the squishing part. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!

It could be any number of things, honestly. Are there a lot of disruptions that happen around the enclosure? Is there a lot of movement? It could be stress related, especially if the snake is not actively seeking heat.

Thank you NH93. I'll make sure I make a note of that and bump some humidity levels.

Not really much of disruption. It was bad when the enclosure was in my room but I intentionally moved the enclosure to "pet room" where it is very quiet. Been 2 weeks or so. Hmm.
