    Good looking rig.

First day, I'd wait and a few days for things to settle, new substrate and all.

Agree with Reinz... wait a while and see how things are in a couple of days. I use spray bottles for humidity.

We use eco earth for our tortoise and if you bought the bricks and soaked it and squeezed it out it could stay 80% and above for over a week. Ours did. After that we are only having to spray once every couple days and that's to keep it at 80% (which is what the tortoise needs). Based on that, it may take a few weeks to get in the 50-60% range.
Of course, ignore all of this if you bought loose eco earth...

Thanks y'all I already put him in yasterday before I read this. That rig said he is doing well. He is out exploring and the temps are perfect more stable then my tub even hummity is a little high but my over head lamp is drying things out a bit. Leaving to screen on covered so it can dry out a bit. He seems to be getting right at home. He seems to love that there's a bit more room his old tub didnt alow him much exploration room. Any suggestions to try it out a bit more 80% seems a bit high
