    Day 67 :(
Well today is day 67 and still no pips on my first clutch ever. I decided to cut 2 of the 5 eggs just to make sure there was actually a snake in there! I see a tiny baby in each egg with full pattern/color development. The fluid in one looked to be nearly gone but both fluids were clear. I left the other 3 eggs alone (they look plump still and one has a window that I can see the pattern of the snake. I wish they would come out!!!!

You might want to double check your temps. Long incubation usually means lower temps. Not necessarily a bad thing unless they're too low, and since they're alive, it couldn't be too low. Good luck & hope they come out soon!

I set the thermostat at 89 but realistically the temps stayed around 87 according to the thermometer. Next year I will bump it up a tiny bit I think. I need babies!!!!!!!!!!!!! :taz: I used to laugh at you all talking about how you were peeking in 2 or 3 times a day now it is me looking in there constantly (glass doors so no need to actually open the incubator. :snake:

That is a little low on temps, but I've heard some say they prefer that. Personally, I let mom do all the work. Maternal Incubation's worked well for me. Hope your little ones make an appearance soon. :)

I'm incubating at 86F, and clutch #1 pipped at day 66. Clutch #2 is on day 67 with no pips. When I asked the forum last week, alan1 said he incubates at 86F-86.5F, and expects most clutches to pip between days 66-68.

Ty, I knew it should be any day now, the eggs are starting to "fall apart" from one another. The two eggs I cut have a clearining of the shell on the creases. I think they will pip first. The other three are more plump still. Wait wait wait.

Just be patient, I wouldn't start messing with the temperatures right now.
