Anyone ever heard of using this? A local reptile store sells these for bp's , the bulb is inside the cage???

Sure hope it has some wire screening around it or something to keep the snake away from getting burnt.

Never ever, ever, ever. Put a heat lamp inside a cage with a ball python. Even with a screen around it the bulb will heat the screen and could potentialy burn your ball pythons. If its a flourescent light then its ok they do not produce alot of heat.
