little black ants in my roach colony

Hello everyone!!

I have a question; Yesterday I saw little black ants walking around my roach colony and wanted to know if they can disturb my roach colony. Do you guys have any way to get rid of them. Should I worry about them?

Those ants used to get into my cricket colony before I kept dubias. They don't bother my dubias for some reason. They did kill and eat my crickets, though...

Thanks, but should I be worried? Beacuse I have my cricket colony right next to my roach colony but I havent seen any in the cricket tub.

I'd move your dubia colony away from the source of ants and then set ant traps out to get rid of them. You should get the kind that they bring back to the nest otherwise they won't go away and you risk contaminating your colony of dubias with poison. But remember, move the dubia colony far away from the traps first.

I would move them as well. Those ants are little demons. They will end up causing issues sooner or later.

Im planning on moving them to a shelf but I feel like they are going to get to my colony again. Is there any way I can keep the ants entertained somewhere else?
