Hog Island and Pearl Island (Sabogae) Boas
Hello, I was wondering what temps does Hog Island and Pearl Island Boas require and how often do you feed them? Also, I'm assuming they're okay with most type of substrates? Thanks!

I give my Hog a hot side of ~89 and a cold side/ambient of ~78. Boas do better with slightly cooler temps than most pythons in my experience.

I feed my boas 7-10 days for babies, 10 days for sub adults, and every 2 weeks for adults.

I use aspen and paper towel substrate for my boas and my Hog is fine on either.

    Great, thanks!

What about Pearl Island Boas (Sabogae)? Same as Hogs?

Couldn't say since I don't work with them, but Cutting Edge Herp does so I may shoot him an email if you don't get some info here (Vin Russo is a very respected boa locality breeder) :gj:

You can vary on the feeding schedule a bit, I personally do babies on a 7 day schedule for the first year.
