Silver Pewter?

I posted an ad on a local classified looking for a baby female, and I was contacted by someone who says she has some "silver pewters" Is that just another name for a pewter, or a black pewter, or is there another gene involved? I could ask but I thought I'd ask here to avoid looking dumb LOL.

I've never heard the term "silver pewter", but the mojave cinny pewter I produced this year is a beautiful sliver color.

I would tell her that I'm not familiar with that morph and ask what the base doms/co-doms are.

I haven't heard them be called that.
Pewters are silver as hatchlings. And then there's Silver Bullets, which is one additional gene to pewter.

Sounds a little weird.

Maybe she was just describing them as being silver in colour and pewters. I'm calling her today. Does anyone know what a fair price would be for a female?

That's new. Pull more info from the breeder before pulling the trigger. It doesn't hurt and protects you. :gj:

Ok, so they are cinnamon pastels, she was just saying that they are really silver. The father is a pewter, and he's really silvery even as an adult (although I haven't seen him), and mom is a WC dinker. She wanted $275 but she will take $200 if I drive out (about 3 hours round trip and $30 in gas). Does $230 sound like a good price for a pewter?

That price is about market price for a male. If its a female, that's a good deal.

Awesome, thanks, I'm glad to know it's a good deal, I'm almost definitely going to be getting her (I have asked her to hold her until Saturday, and she said she would). I posted another thread with pics :)
