    A dorsal shot would be easier. Take one from the top down and it will be fairly apparent. Most likely it is a rose hair, but I've seen a few Haitian browns mislabeled as rose hairs.

    Looks like a Haitian brown to me. It should have an overall burgundy-like hue, and a nasty attitude. G. rosea will have a "mirror spot" on the rump - An area of reflective-like hairs giving the impression of a shiny patch on the bum. The Haitian brown lacks those. If you tap the forelegs with a pencil it should rear up. The browns are known for being a bit intolerant of handling.
