    [Help]Identifying snake problem.
Good friend of mine got a snake from his friend but currently he did not ask what kind it was? But he googled it and he found similar picture that looked like it and it was "rat snake". Is it true that rat snake is corn snake? What do you guys think? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/09/2a5e7ypu.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/09/y9u9u8ut.jpg and he found this pic said rat snakehttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/09/e8ybaqy2.jpg

That appears to be an "ANERY" or Black Corn Snake.

I have no idea, my friend randomly called me up and told me he got a snake. Come to think about it I think he did mention his friend found? It? Or he had an extra.

If it is wild caught then wouldnt that cross out Anery corn snake?

Also if it is wild caught, shouldnt I tell him to go vet first?

If its wild caught, Id definitely say black rat snake. baby black rats are black and gray when babies, and get darker and darker as they age, until they turn black.

That is amazing. But shouldnt I tell him to set it free? Or take it to vet if he is gonna raise it? I think he wants to keep it really bad but he wont bc enclosures and it might have pest lol

I would keep it though. Since I have extra enclosure.. should I convince him to handover? hahaha:D

But pest tho. Im concerned but it looks like baby. Chance of pest 100%?
