    Albino snakes
I just recently got a 2 month old Albino Red Tail Boa.....I have only had her 2 weeks and I think she may be starting her shed cycle...My other 2 snakes are Ball Pythons ( not albino ) and I always can tell when their getting ready to shed cause of their eyes turning blue..Not sure about my new baby..Her eyes are red, but today they look like "cat eyes" red slits, and the rest is light...Wasn't sure if their eyes turn blue...or if they just get milky white...Anyone with albino snake, I will apprectiate any info....She is also laying in her water dish..Which I know is normal..My BP's only lay a part of their body in water...I've never seen them completly coil in their water bowl

Mine gets really dull. Like a flatter lighter yellow during shed. He's usually very bright and vibrant.

I can't really tell much with the eyes. But it gets a little more pink than red.

I've never had to tell with an albino because I'm not big on albino, but normally I can tell by the coloring because the dullish that comes when entering shed, that or the pink belly.

My albino ball goes from glossy to matte and kinda looks like he has a "powdered finish" to his scales. The eyes get slightly cloudy but it's hard to tell. They won't get blue because they're over pink eyes and not dark eyes. Also, he has a complete pink wash across his whole body.

With the rest of mine, I can tell when they're really close to a shed as well as just starting a cycle. With him, I sometimes don't notice until the day before he sheds.
