    Help 911 heat question!!
So everything has been going good with all my bp's until this morning. I checked the room as I normally do at least twice a day. Yesterday I was feeding so I turn off the heater normally when in there. When I left I turned it on (thermostat controlled). This morning I walk in the room and it was excessively hot. I looked at the thermostats throughout the room and the read 94-95. I forgot to set it in auto mode (I think). I opened the windows and threw on the ceiling fan and dropped the temp to 91-92 fairly quickly. I checked all my snakes and they all seem to ok some in their water dish that never had been before. I now have the door open and the windows open with the fan off to let the temperature drop more gradually. I feel so bad! :tears: I already decided once the room cools I am adding an additional thermostat as a safety to kill the heater in case of a mishap. Any suggestions from here? Is there any thing to look for or be worried about?

I don't think you have anything to worry about. 94-95 is perfectly fine. I had my room overheat to over 100 a little while ago, no issues with anyone, thank god. Just keep the circulation going, and mist down the snakes a bit.

I'm a bit confused though. What's your setup like? By heater, do you mean a room heater? Or UTH/flex watt/radiant heat panel?

Yeah it is a room heater. Since I keep the house cooler especially in the winter (Had windows open last night) I have a little heater that keep the room 78-82 year round.
