    Ball python didnt shed tail any tips?
    http://i.imgur.com/hjy2X2p.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/BuKFEy0.jpgHey guys so my ball python shed a couple days ago nd she looked beautiful so today i pick her up i realy havent looked at her cause after her shed i feed her an adult mouse shes only 3 months btw so i left her alone for two days and today i pick her and i saw her tail had a little piece of shed left on her tail this is her first shed with me i just got her two weeks ago humidity was kept around 70%-75% is there any way to take the piece of shed off or should i just let it come off on its own

    Hi,

    When the shed completely encircles the body is the one time you need to do something about it.

    If you don't it will shrink as it dries and can cut off the blood supply causing the loss of the tail and infection etc.

    I would get a plant mister and boost the humidity in her enclosure for an hour or so then take her out and spray the stuck shed directly and try and remove it by rolling from the point closest to the head end down towards the tail.

    I use a warm wet washcloth and gently rub it downward on the tail (with the scales) until the shed softens up and rolls off.
