    Hatchlings not shedding
My second clutch of eight were hatched on 8/11 and four have shed with no problem but four have yet to shed but they seemed uncomfortable in the wet paper towels so took them out and put them in individual tubs on aspen yesterday. Should I put them back together in a tub with wet paper towels or just mist the aspen?

I've had this on occasion(usually one in a clutch). When they finally go to shed,if they are having a hard time,I put them back on damp paper towels to make it easier for them.

I agree with grcforce327, they should go back on the moist paper towel. I've only had a couple take more than 5 or 6 days to shed. I've put a rock in the tub before to try and give them a little something to rub against. I just think putting them on aspen may make things too dry and hinder the shedding even more. Good luck!!!

They still haven't shed and seem like they want out of this tub with damp towel no physical hardness in bellies and don't seem I'll but act like they are hungry. Its been almost a month since they hatched and I'm sure they are ready to eat. Anyone else had healthy snake babies take so long to shed?
