I really like iHerp. It's pretty straight forward once you've played round with it for awhile. There is a pretty decent user base on iHerp that is fun to hang out with, and their classifieds section always has some cool stuff on it. Make sure that you checkout the blog posts on the left side of the iHerp Home page.

Oh, and how do I view the people I have under "favorites"??
And what is the "door" thingy...is that like the wall on FB??

On the right side of the screen just above the new animals box is a tab that says "My Favorites (Show)" Just click that and it will expand to show your favorites.
It's pretty much a FB wall crossed with the visitor messages system here on BP.net.
I'm not sure about the email thing. You can always contact Aaron Florian (The guy who started the site) and as, He's a pretty cool guy.
One cool feature I forget to mention is iHerp can generate printable sheets for your reptiles, just click on the "My Animals" Tab. The last option is Printable worksheet.
The batch feeding option is also pretty nice if you have a larger collection.
