My 1st rat rack

So I built this 5 tub rack from free lumber I got from craigslist (herpin on a budget!) still have plenty of lumber left and I'm working on a watering system before I build another rack any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. All the female rats had their heat. Some showed sperm plugs when I inspected them and now I'm just waiting to see if they got pregers.

Looks good. Is that a feed bin inside the tub? curious how you set that up.

As for a watering system, I just use the parts from reptile basics. The cheaper nipple and the tubing and T's and elbows. and the tank bulkhead valve. I just get a Rubbermaid container locally for the tank. Just double check that after you get it setup and running that there are no leaks. Had one valve come in with a piece of machining debris in it that caused it to leak a few hours after I started using it. Took it apart and cleaned it out and haven't had further issues. I also use filtered water in mine to avoid having problems due to mineral buildup from the water. also, our tap water sux.

Thanks for the info that site is pretty co. I made the hopper by making a box with the mesh and attaching it to the top of the cage with S-hooks.
